"Are you in need of an adventure?"

Here I am, surrounded by a room full of my stuff. I'm home for the Holidays, freshly showered and smelling wonderful in my robe. My bed is one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever sat on, but it has pink sheets and a quilt made out of my great-grandmother's old clothes and fabrics so I'm all right. I just need to share an adventure with you. It is quite the adventure you may not get as much  of a kick out of it that I will in about a year, but it is a story that needs to be told. Sorry if it's long...
The story begins last week in Rock Springs. I was with my good friend, Sleeping Beauty. (I'm giving everyone code names) I was dying to go home for the weekend from Rock Springs because one of my dearest friends, we'll call him Hercules, was leaving on his mission for two years. And, of course, I absolutely HAD to go to his farewell. Now, I had to be back in Rock Springs by Tuesday for my Acting final at 8 a.m. So... I had to plan this out carefully. I had my car,  my PARENT's car, the Jimmy.  Not the best tires or windshield wipers. The weather didn't look great for the next few days. I figured I would be fine. My mother told me, several times, that I should just stay in Rock Springs over the weekend and come home when we knew the weather was better. I didn't want to do that! I had to go to my friend's farewell! I HAD to see him before he left! (Also, my mother told me to talk to Sleeping Beauty's mom, we're going to call her Flora, because she felt good about driving that road and had offered to drive if the weather was bad. I was to ask Flora if she would drive back to Rock Springs with me on Monday so that I could take my final and then she could bring Sleeping Beauty and I home.) SO... at first, I felt like I shouldn't go and I should just stay, but I DIDN'T WANT TO! I even prayed about it, and I felt like I should stay, but I DIDN'T WANT TO! SO I looked up the weather and I felt good about it so I left. I followed my dear friend Cinderella on the long I-80 stretch. I listened to the Opera Aida fade in and out on Classical Wyoming Radio as I closely followed Cinderella's carriage which she calls Fran. We didn't have any weather problems. The big trucks got my windshield a little dirty and I was, unfortunately, out of windshield wiper fluid, so I was making some interesting choices in how I was going to see out my front window for the next 2 hours. I was grateful for the light precipitation that we got after we crossed the state line. I could see again! I didn't drive in any falling snow until I got into the Salt Lake Valley. So about the last 20 minutes of my drive, I was using my windshield wipers and just trying to get home. I got home about 2:00 Saturday afternoon and missed the baby shower that I was supposed to go to in Herriman. Well, I had a fabulous weekend, if you were wondering. I spent time with my family and friends and I was able to say goodbye to Hercules. Now we come into Monday. Monday, the 17th of December in the year 2012. This was the day that Sleeping Beauty's mom, Flora, and I were to drive to Rock Springs. Now, she's finishing up school and about to start student teaching, so she had some assignments she needed to get done. So I met her at her house and we headed on the road about 4:00 that afternoon. She drove the Jimmy and we were off! We chatted and got to know each other a little bit more. It was a good time. It wasn't awkward. We were both very comfortable and talkative. (I know, right? Me talkative? crazy.) Anywho... about 50 minutes into our drive, we hit snow and darkness. Dusk was upon us and the roads were getting icy. We fishtailed once, but Flora corrected and we were fine. We fishtailed again, but this time, the back end of the car swerved to the right. We were still moving but forward, but we slid closer and closer to the edge of the road. We barely missed a speed limit sign. We had made a 90 degree turn and were off the road. We slid down the small hill that was to our right and were now facing the road, tilted, and stuck in a ditch. Here is a diagram.

Right after this happened, We had the  car behind us stop and a nice man came to see if we were okay. Luckily, we were fine. No damage to us or the car. Also, there was a highway patrol man just behind us and he stopped as well. Officer GoodLookin' made sure we were okay, called a tow-truck, and put out some flares on the side of the road. He had to leave, because there was a roll over up the road that he needed to take care of. So.. Flora and I sat there for a long time. We decided not to tell anyone just yet. I didn't call my parents, she didn't call her husband, and we were not going to tell Sleeping Beauty until we were safely home in Salt Lake. We had a few men stop to ask if we were okay. All good Samaritans, but the greatest of all was this Hispanic man named Luis. He spoke in broken English and with his wife, insisted that he stay with us until the tow-truck arrived. The flares had gone out by now, so Luis put his car where they were. And guess what? He got stuck. in the slush. lovely. So now we were both stuck waiting for a tow truck to come in from Wanship. I don't even know where that is! We were informed that we were about 8 miles away from the border, 10 miles from Evanston. An hour and a half after Officer GoodLookin' left, the tow truck finally showed. He first got Luis unstuck, he was in a suburban, and then Luis helped the driver to un-stuck us. Luis got into the jimmy and guided it up the hill as the truck did its towing. The jimmy is supposed to have 4-wheel drive...it doesn't. We were finally able to get back in the car. Flora, bless her heart and soul, went to pay the driver and fill out all the nasty paperwork. Officer GoodLookin' showed up again and informed us that the road from Evanston to Lyman was closed. You have got to be kidding me. So... we drove very slowly with our hazards flashing all the way and made it into Evanston. When we got to the hotel, I called my folks, Sleeping Beauty (We thought it would be better if I told her so that she wouldn't cry.), and my teacher that was giving his final the next morning. We stayed at Best Western Inn and get this... the rooms are not all in one building. It's one of those things where they all have front doors that lead outside. Our room was up two hills and it was icy. My poor little Jimmer, the Jimmy, couldn't even get up the icy hills. We tried and tried again until we finally made it up. Bless Flora for not yelling and cursing at me and my dang car! Of course by this point I felt awful. This was all my fault. If I would have stayed in Rock Springs this wouldn't have happened. If I wouldn't have suggested that we take the Jimmy because it has more room for all of our stuff, this wouldn't have happened. I was selfish and I disobeyed my parents. On top of all of this I am a procrastinator. So guess who had homework? And guess whose computer froze on them three times in a ten minute period? (When this computer freezes, the only way to fix it is to turn it off and back on. lovely.) So... Guess who did their homework in the hotel lobby until 12:30 a.m.? You guessed it. Me. cool. Poor Flora just wanted to go to sleep and probably never see me or that car again. Anyway, I finished most of my homework, and then I went to bed. We woke up at about seven, I called the front desk and we discovered that the roads were open! I still was not going to make my final that was an hour and a half away in good weather conditions, but I survived. Flora got ready, I had hardly anything because I wasn't expecting to stay overnight NOT in my dorm room. We went to eat breakfast and they took FOREVER bringing us our food. Or at least I thought so. Now, nothing against Flora, she is a dear soul, but I was ready to get back on the road and she was not. I had a thousand things I still needed to do. So. many. things. I still needed to pack all my stuff up in my room so I can move into an apartment next semester. I still had homework that needed to be printed off. I had so many things. We finally got back on the road after getting gas and checking the weather. The roads were bad all the way through Lyman, but after that they were pretty good.
As soon as we pulled up to the school at 11 a.m., I ran up the four flights of stairs to my room, brushed my teeth, changed my clothes, deodorized myself, put my hair up, grabbed what I needed and ran back down the four flights, into the school, and down to the basement where I spend my theatre life. I ran into the computer lab that is down there, finished my homework, got my Englsih homework in right at noon, when it was due, and finished everything else. Sleeping Beauty and Flora came in to find me because they were all done packing SB's things in the car. I still needed to take my final. While I coordinated all of these things SB and Flora went up to my room and started packing all of my things that I was bringing home. Flora packed all my clothes and bathroom things. I can not say thank you enough to these wonderful Daughters of God. SOOOO.. I called my scene partner and he came down to the basement and we waited around for our Professor. He finally showed up at about 12:30, we performed, I did my monologue and the final was over. Holy Hannah! What a day.... not over. SB brought my backpack to me from my room because I left it there all weekend on accident. She also wrapped a present that I brought back for Cinderella because I could only find it in Salt Lake. Since Cinderella was already home, we gave it to her Prince Charming. I turned in my assignments to one of my other teachers, gave my assignments that I did in the hotel to my professor and felt better. I also had to go talk to my English teacher because I was going to borrow the first season of a popular T.V. show from her. She wasn't there, but while we were on that side of the school SB remembered that we needed to take down our tree that we put up for our knitting club. (Yes, I started a knitting club and I am the President) We would have been in trouble if we had not taken it down. shoot. that took even longer, also good thing we were on that side of the school because I needed to get some paperwork for the Honors Program. Goodness. (I'm getting tense just typing all of this.) My brain was trying to focus on 20 things at once. I ran back up to my room, grabbed a present for my friend Tinkerbell and ran that down to her before she left for Colorado. While I did that, SB and Flora were packing my things into the Jimmy and we all went back and forth from my room to the car carrying things and making sure I had everything I needed. Remember... I live on the fourth floor and there was not an R.A. in sight to give me elevator access. I talked to housing and they said that I should be okay leaving my stuff in my room over the holidays because no one is moving into that room. I hope not anyway.
So.. We finally had everything. WE needed to stop in Green River. SB's sister lives there and she has the cutest little baby boy so Flora, of course, had to see her little Grandson. :) I was fine at this point. My stress and anxiety were gone. I still felt awful. These ladies probably think I'm crazy and the most disobedient child. Anyway, we visited with SB's sis, ...Ariel,  for a little while. Then we headed back off. We stopped at Subway before we left town, filled up on gas, and cleaned the windshield. I got out of the car to clean the windshield so that Flora could eat. The lady on the Maverick loudspeaker enthusiastically asked me, "Are you in need of an adventure!?" Heavens no. please no. I am so good. I am in need of my bed. I am in need of no school, I am in need of NO snow. NO ADVENTURES! I'm done!
We left Green River at 3:30 p.m. and we arrived in Evanston just before 6 p.m. That is a one hour drive in good weather. We needed to clean off the windshield again, but the squidgees and buckets were kept inside so that they wouldn't freeze. When we put the water on the window, we scraped off ice. Welcome to Wyoming. Luckily, the roads after Evanston were pretty clear. No ice, we only got a little snow on our way down the canyon, but we finally made it to SB and Flora's house just after 8:00. I drove myself home, hugged my mother, apologized to her, and cried a little. She helped me unpack my things and here I sit the next morning in a room full of my stuff.
p.s. Did I mention that I started my period on Monday morning? Best 30 hours of my life......

This is what I want to do

I want to make some fun and enjoyable goals for myself this semester!

Use more words! I wish that I was well rounded in my vocabulary. I want to be fancy!

Read. Anne of Avonlea, Order of the Phoenix and Fellowship of the Ring. We'll start with those.

Finish a knitting project. A scarf or maybe some leg warmers for ballet??

Find my fashion sense!? Seriously. I'm 19. I need to get a hold of myself.

This is happening

This poor little unread blog has seriously been neglected by this girl.
Well... here goes!
I live in Wyoming. Don't judge. I'm on scholarship.
I'm a Musical Theatre major. Don't judge. I love it.
I'm learning how to knit and I am a bit addicted....
I love institute here in Rock Springs.
My new calling? Relief Society Secretary :)
Contrary to popular belief, there are cool people in Wyoming.
I'm in a play! The Diary of Anne Frank and I am playing the momma.
I no longer have rehearsal and have no idea what to do with all of my time. Good thing I have knitting and some books.
That last comment doesn't mean I'm a grandma.
My friends surprised me this weekend at my show! They're cool :)
Here's some pictures!!!!!
This was at the float parade in July!

hard decisions

Sometimes I just wish that the Lord would tell you exactly what decision you need to make. What happens if you make the wrong decision? You start down the wrong path, you don't learn what you want, you don't meet the people you are supposed to meet, and you may never get married. Maybe that's a little extreme, but that is how I feel. I have been home, in West Valley, living with my parents, for the past six months. ONLY me and my parents. It's been awesome. I work at Quiznos monday-friday being jealous of my coworkers who are in school and taking money from hundreds of people who have better jobs than I do. I love to learn and I am longing to go back to school. So.... Here comes my dilemma that I want the Lord to solve. I have three options.

1. Go back to BYU-I, take out a loan, get a job in Rexburg, live with my old roommates whom I LOVE, work my way up in the program until I finally get on stage in a few years, get good grades so that my school could eventually get paid for,  do the disney college program during my semester off in the winter, experience again that wonderful feeling that BYU-I has, get into debt from loans, be four hours away from home and my bestie, but be with my wonderful, wonderful roommates.

2. Stay home and go to SLCC (Salt Lake Community College) with my BEST FRIENDS in West Valley, stay in my singles ward where I have a place and a calling, eventually move out with my best friends, get a better job in the Valley, have a car(my parents), get more involved in the institute where I feel very comfortable, maybe join the Institute choir, go to school for cheap and get free books.

3. Go to Western Wyoming Community College and receive a theatre scholarship that includes in-state tuition, full housing, and a 10 meal plan, only pay the $420 dollar difference for out of state tuition each semester, be two hours away from home, learn more faster, take dance classes, take private voice, get on stage in my first semester, transfer to BYU-I in two years, live with theatre majors :/, be in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people, afraid of what I'll be exposed to.

This is my major worry in my life right now. I think about it 24/7.  I feel like whichever decision I make will be okay. I hate that feeling! I just want to know  RIGHT NOW what I should do! I'm running out of time. No more dawdling. I need to make my decision. Also, can I say, growing up is hard! I don't mean to sound all whiny right now, but I never realized how hard it is to not be in High School where you have a structured schedule, a social life, and more friends than you could name.  I'm excited to finish my education and eventually be a drama teacher. Good thing I know exactly where I need to go to do that! ;) Honestly the hardest decision of my life. I am so worried that I will make the wrong decision. And I feel like there are going to be disappointed whichever decision I make (Let's face it, I'm a people pleaser) My friend asked me how close I was to making an official decision and I said about 100 prayers and 20 discussions, but I feel like no matter how much I talk about it or pray about it I will never get a confirmation.

Help!?

As most of you know, I took a Family History Class at school and I loved it! It kicked my butt, but it was so interesting and I loved researching and finding out about my family. Well... My bishop in my singles ward found out about this class and I am now the Family History Sunday School Teacher. A little intimidated. It's weird to talk about temple blessings when I haven't even been through for myself. Anyway, Anybody have any advice? Not only on how to teach Family History, but just how to teach a Sunday school class in general. Never taught before. Not even 19 yet. ha. Help??

My 2011

I've seen some posts about things that people have done for 2011, so I decided to look for myself. :)
But, I did want to start at the beginning of my Senior year so you will see a bit of 2010. :)

  • Senior Year started with 1) A new Drama teacher 2) being in Madrigals and 3) Being Homecoming Princess :)

  • Playing a "character role" in the musical Bye, Bye Birdie and the four of us were created.

Joseph Gandy, Kyle Nay, Me and Katie Omer. I played Kyle's mother.

  • Now, on to 2011! The year started with me getting a haircut (The same day that I went to the Opera for the first time.)
11 inches baby!

  • And I took a tour of USU with some friends. I was pretty set on going there for college.

  • Theatre Conference in St. George and I auditioned in front of many theatre departments and I thought I was going to die. Such a scary moment for me.

  • I went to the Holli Festival at the Hindu temple. THAT was super fun!

Kaity, Cami, Katie, Me

  • I directed a play.

One of the hardest things of my life, but an amazing experience that I will never forget.
The Cast of "Arsenic and Old Lace"

  • Senior Ball. My best friend was the Princess and her date (Joseph) was Prince. (could you get any cuter?) I went with my friend Roy from Jr. High.

  • The end of May/beginning of June was a crazy time for the Day family. My Grandpa Day passed away on May 28, the same day as our Madrigal pictures and party. I was also in charge of the slideshow that wasn't finished. It was a rough day.

  • Then there were various award things, yearbook day, and graduation

  • Then Steven and Erica got engaged that night. Everyone went to Layton for the viewing. I stayed out all night with my friends, went to the funeral and then spent the rest of the evening with my friends while the parents were meeting with the family. The next day, Sunday, was my first day in the singles ward and My parents first day as inner city missionaries in a ward in Magna. A few days after that, Melissa and Steven got engaged. We had quite the summer.....
  • I went to Lagoon with my friends right before Joseph went to Europe for a month.

  • I went on Trek in June, we went camping as friends in July and then went to the Harry Potter 7 part 2 premiere together!

We went camping at Causey Reservoir
HP 7 Part 2.....Last midnight premiere. "It all ends...."

  • We went tubing down a river in Ogden and I got bruised up to the max. I wish I had pictures.

  • Family Reunion in Cedar City and I got to see The Music Man during the Shakespearean Festival!

  • Brother's Wedding

  • I earned my Young Women Medallion

  • I started college. That's a big thing, right?

I made wonderful friendships and had an absolutely amazing time!

  • Sister's Wedding

  • I celebrated 11-11-11 (see previous 11-11-11 post)

I left school to come home...
I've been having some pretty fun times
with my buddies. And got my
ears pierced on New Years Eve :)

I guess you could say I had quite the eventful year. I had a lot of great accomplishments and tried a lot of new things. I made two best friends in 2011, I met wonderful people, we had three additions to our family, and lost a great one. 2011 has got to be my biggest year yet. Bring it on 2012!

short update

Well, I am home now. For a while. I am on Fall/Spring Semester so I stay in West Valley until April. I have spent pretty much every single day with my friends. It's wonderful how normal it all is to be home and hanging out with all my friends again. I love that nothing has changed. We all get along wonderfully and I feel like we are all closer than we were before. Most people stayed in the valley, but Katie and I (and a few others) were away at school. And now Katie is staying home this semester too so I will not be so lonely! :) Joseph is leaving on his mission very soon. Things are going to start changing again. which will be weird. Here are just some pics from Christmas Break and such. :)

Thanksgivin' Break

So this year for Thanksgiving, I brought all my roommates along with me. Except for Julie. She went home.
It went much better than I thought it was going to go! The first night we just hung out at my house. Had Papa Murphys pizza, cause it's the best, and watched a movie. Wednesday night I ditched them all and hung out with my friends. (Rude, I know.) My roommate, Emily, went to go visit her friend in Midvale. Said she would be back at midnight, called me at 1 in the morning because she was seeing signs for Antelope Drive and Lagoon Amusement Park! Oh boy was she lost! Thursday was Thanksgiving and the whole fam-bam-ily was here. Steven maned the kitchen and everyone else was either his slave or we didn't see them until it was time to eat.  We also had our traditional Day Family Leg Wrestling Tournament! Emily, my roommate, won the female bracket. That was funny. We spent Friday night downtown seeing the lights and meeting David Archuleta. no biggie....
I did not want to go back to Rexburg after this though. I realized that I really missed West Valley and all the people in it. But, I went back anyway. So, enjoy some pictures! :)

Mustache Monday

So, there is this place called Sammy's. It's a restaurant and they sell shakes and sandwiches, mostly. There is one in Provo as well, so you may have heard of this place. For some reason, the signature thing about Sammy's is the mustache. You can't look anywhere in that place and not see a mustache. Either it's drawn on a celebrity on the wall, on a wooden potato hanging up or a picture of Sammy himself. Anyway, every Monday is Mustache Monday. If you come in on a Monday night wearing a mustache, you get a grilled cheese sandwich for 80 cents. (I just realized that keyboards don't have cents signs. hmm...)

So, for FHE we bought some mustaches, courtesy of Emily, and we headed off to Sammy's. One of the boys took Jessa's that she refused to wear and the other took the thing that is on Julie's eyebrow. The other two boys didn't want to come, because they are lame.

Everyone that saw us knew where we were heading. "Sammy's?"
"Hey, I like your mustaches!"
"Grilled Cheese at Sammy's!" They all knew it. And they liked it.

To Utah

So, the first weekend in November was Melissa's wedding, so I needed to come down to Utah, naturally. Julie wanted to come as well to hang with family that lives in Lehi and her friends that go to school at BYU and UVU. So, the two of us broke off from our roomies and took a road trip! We had a blast! She stopped by the house for a bit and met some of the fam and then she headed south to be with HER family and friends. I visited with my friends and helped get ready for the wedding. Friday was wedding all day. Everything was great! The reception turned out beautifully and the pictures were so much fun! I can't wait to get them back! I will most definitely be posting some of those beauties! :) I don't want to say too much and get all emotional in the world of blogging but I just want to say that I am happy for Melissa and I respect Steven. I love my sister and will miss having her around, especially when I come home for the winter.
The rest of the weekend I sat around and hung out with my friends. :) Saturday was a lazy day mostly, until about 8. Then we went to Laura Lewis's house and played Just Dance! We stayed there for a while. And it was daylight savings, so we stayed there and extra hour! haha! Katie slept at my house and then a bunch of us went to The Music and the Spoken Word Broadcast at the tabernacle. That was really cool. I had never been before. Then we watched 17 miracles at Kyle's house. That movie is so great. I cried basically the whole way through. It was cool to see the stories that I have heard on Trek and see new ones as well. It was awesome to see the story about Sister Rowley and the dried up sea biscuits. Anne Jewel is her name. She is my 4th great grandmother. If it wasn't for that miracle, you probably would be reading an entirely different blog right now. Who knows what things this other person would expose you to!? They may introduce you to Pinterest!
Anyway, after 17 Miracles, we went to Kyle's sacrament meeting. Kyle left to go to choir rehearsal for the University Choir (Or so we thought) and Katie, Joseph, and Josh came to my house. We watched some church movies. Joseph showed him and his brothers off in the Joseph F. Smith living prophets video and they all BEGGED me to show them "I, Nephi" clips. I eventually gave in and they all marveled at how cute I was and how good I did on my solo as just a wee 10 year old. They ate it up! :) They all left and I got ready to head back to Idaho. When all of the sudden, I felt a vibration from my phone it was my brother, Bradley. "Is that Kyle I just saw singing the solo at the CES fireside?" "
"What!?", I said, "Kyle didn't say anything to me!" So then I turned on the T.V. and watched the choir sing the closing song. Sure enough, there was the University of Utah Institute choir. I saw a bunch of people that I know form High School. Kyle didn't even MENTION that his choir was singing at the CES fireside. He just said he had rehearsal and we assumed that it was for University Choir. I guess you know what happens when you assume. If you don't, look it up.
So, my roommate met my family, my last sister got married, I cried, I danced to Michael Jackson, I laughed, I hugged, I talked, and one of my best friends sang a solo in front of the entire world. And I didn't even see it. What a weekend!
P.S. Start the video at 8:18 to hear the whole song. The soloist is Kyle! I'm so proud of him! He is so good!  What a marvelous person and musician :)

Me and Julie at the border!

Haunted Birthday

So, during the month of October I was in a show called Haunted Romance. It was a combination of folk tales, monologues, folk songs, and a couple of scenes. They were mostly about people dying or the dead. It was a lot of fun. The directors were Omar and Laurie Hansen. Omar is my Intro to Theatre professor. I met a lot of new people and it was just so much fun. It was nice to be in a show again. I miss preforming so much! We had a little band made up of a violin, guitar, bass, and a mandolin. They honestly were super duper good. I did a monologue that Omar and Laurie wrote. It's about a girl, just after the Civil War,  and her betrothed was "accidently" killed by his brother right in front of her. He haunted me and I had to conjure his body out of the grave to reunite his spirit and body. Gruesome, I know. We preformed on the 28, 29, and Halloween. Mrs. Fields and Chuck came to opening night. That made me so happy! So sweet of them.  And my cousin, Jessica who is up here working came as well! I'm glad I did it.
I was just sad that I missed my ward Halloween party. All my roommates dressed up cute and creative. They brought me a haunted house made of graham crackers though. :)

Now, Julie LOVES Katy Perry.
L-O-V-E LOVES her!
So... On October 24th we celebrated Katy's birthday! We made a cake and played her music
while dancing around in the kitchen!
It was super fun!

The Dunes!

On the 22 of the wonderful month of October, we decided to go to the Sand Dunes and have an epic bonfire! All my roommates came, except Crystal. She went to Stake Conference instead. haha. Laura Tingey came and brought her friend Sam and Julie's friend Greg came. It was all super fun! We built a huge fire with some pallets that Julie and Hillary stole. We ate candy, had smores, talked, and sang some Disney songs. Julie and I played what has become one of my favorite games. Laura took my camera and yelled out an emotion. Julie and I had to react and then Laura would quickly took the picture. It's a great game. Try it sometime. It's the best. :) Then we left and I made them all watch What's Up, Doc? Cause that's an awesome movie. :) Enjoy some pictures :)
Me and Julie playing my fav. game. and Jessa eating a smore. :)
Laura and me = Tree huggers!!!!
This is Greg. He can stand on fires.

He's also a magic man and can carry with him.

October Update

October 9 was our "Roommativersary" We had all been living here together for one month. To celebrate we took roommate pictures, made pizza and strawberry salad, and watched "Singin' In The Rain" It was such a fun day! Laura took pictures for us! For those of you who don't know, Laura is Erica's (my sister in-in-law) little sister. She goes here with me and we have lots and lots of fun together! :)

So... we love psych! Every Wednesday Jessa, Julie, and I go to our FHE brothers apartment and we watch Psych! It is just such a brilliant and hilarious show! The premiere was on the 12th and our 'brother', David, made chicken wrapped bacon and grilled pineapple. Way good! We had to have pineapple. If you've seen Psych, you'll understand. :)

There was one night where it was pretty late and Julie and I wanted pudding. So we made pudding. We eventually took our dishes back into the kitchen to put them in the sink and go to bed. I don't really remember how it started, but one of us stuck our pudding covered spoon on the other and an epic battle ensued! We got pudding all over the kitchen. This was just the extra streaks left in the mixing bowl. How did we get that small amount to go that far!?  Anyway, we fought and laughed and got covered in pudding. Can you have more fun than that?

My I-team leader planned a temple trip for the kids in on my I-team. So, I went to the Rexburg temple for the first time. There were so many people there! It probably took a good two hours. We didn't get our clothes for like an hour! Such a long wait! I was so worried that day. I had so much to do! My Ancestral History Project was due on Monday, so I needed to finish that plus all of the other regular homework I had! I almost didn't go to the temple, but I knew that it would calm me down and I would recieve blessings. And it turned out well. I was calm and I was able to finish m project in time. :)
